Installation of biological safety cabinet

1. The biological safety cabinet shall not be placed on its side, impacted, or collided during transportation, and shall not be directly attacked by rain, snow, or sun exposure.

2. The working environment of the biological safety cabinet is 10~30℃ and the relative humidity is <75%.
3. The equipment should be installed on a horizontal surface that cannot be moved.
4. The equipment must be installed close to a fixed power outlet. When the external exhaust system is not connected, the top of the device must be at least 200mm away from the obstacle at the top of the room, and the rear must be at least 300mm away from the wall to facilitate the smooth flow of external exhaust. 5. In order to prevent airflow interference, it is required not to install the equipment in the passage of people, and not to make the operating port of the sliding front window of the biological safety cabinet face the door and window of the laboratory or be too close to the door and window. Places that may disturb the airflow.
6. When used in high altitude areas, the wind speed must be recalibrated after installation.

Use of biological safety cabinets
1. Turn on the power.
2. Wear clean laboratory overalls, clean your hands, and wipe the working platform in the safety cabinet with 70% alcohol or other disinfectants.
3. Place the experimental objects in the safety cabinet as required.
4. Close the glass door, turn on the power switch, and if necessary, turn on the UV lamp to disinfect the surface of the experimental objects.
5. After the disinfection is completed, set to the working state of the safety cabinet, open the glass door to make the machine operate normally.
6. The equipment can be used after completing the self-cleaning process and running stably.
7. After finishing the work and taking out the waste, wipe the working platform in the cabinet with 70% alcohol. Maintain the air circulation for a period of time to discharge pollutants in the work area.
8. Close the glass door, turn off the fluorescent lamp, and turn on the ultraviolet lamp to disinfect the cabinet.
9. After disinfection, turn off the power.
